Weren’t that bad at all?

-Got the club sustaining itself after was haemorrhaging it’s way to liquidation.
-Got rid of the problem staff and players
-Eventually got us promotion after a few unlucky misses

I’m not saying they were great and think their time is up now as we have moved up to the championship just saying that I never understood what was meant to be so bad about them. For me the Short reign was far worse and could have easily liquidated the club
They obviously did OK at cutting costs, but the lies about the parachute payments, the lies about the investment and them being upset when they were called out on it did for them. And they were pretty amateurish as an ownership group.

You have to look at it in two pieces.

1. Non football they had to slash costs, stop the cash drain, maintain academy status, keep the fans interested and give the manager enough to get out of the league. I think they did a very good job to be fair. 8 out of 10

2. Football - get us out of this hellhole league. They failed - maja, grigg and Parkinson disastrous decisions. They were close and they were unlucky Jack Ross shit himself. 3 out of 10

Basically I think Donald in particular deserves a lot of credit for the cost cutting and getting rid of the mess. Football decisions were uninspired - KLD appointment of KS is underestimated by most Safc fans

Taking an objective view, I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I don’t actually think they were terrible, they stopped us going into administration by trimming a lot of the fat and over expenditure that was left by ES. Removed problem players, as you mentioned.

I think their biggest problem was recruitment, basically just completely picked the wrong players. On the night we bought Grigg most of the board thought we would walk the league (including me).

Business wise I think they did fine and helped stabilise us, footballing wise I think they did pretty badly. They are potentially out of their depth now with KLD and us in the championship. I think if they’d kept their mouths shut instead of spouting about the fans and being active on Twitter, I don’t think they’d get nearly as much hate as they do.

Bit strange we basically just posted the same thing lol

I was took in when they bought it, said all the right things and made a massive pr effort with the podcasts and all, if they had got us up in season 1 and sold up they would have been thought of very differently I reckon.

Things turned tho and selling all promising youngsters, jobs for the boys if you’d been anywhere near Eastleigh, methven slating the fans, stealing the 20m parachute payments and ‘reinvesting’ when needed.

Biggest mistake was appointing Phil Parkinson for me though, showed how much they didn’t understand the club with that appointment

If they had told the truth from the off instead of being full of shit maybe they would have been given a bit more leeway.

Then again, once it came out how incompetent they were in STID maybe not.

Aye I'm really grateful. They didn't take on a gamble they couldn't afford, did not decimate the scouting and academy and did not appoint Phil Parkinson.

Neither did they slag the fans off or accuse them of basically kidnapping one of their kids.
Ludicrous innit. Wankers. 😂

Sell, sell, sell, sack, sack, sack, redundancy, redundancy, redundancy - I could have done that. Pair of parasites.

Really?

If have done it -you would not underestimate how hard it is.

It is beyond draining an emergency restructuring. SD earned his money

They were completely and utterly inadequate from day one.

Vast majority of this place put them on a pedestal and hounded anyone who made any sort of reasonable points.

I can’t believe some still exist, after everything.
