Anyone been in an open relationship before?

The problem I see with an open relationship is the disparity that will likely occur because being a bloke, I know what blokes are like.

She'd probably have a queue round the block of willing suitors ready to plug up every hole while I wait to get my first tinder match.

Then you just do it together, go to parties where it's couples only, or you go on specific sites that caters for couples. And also, it only works if both are happy, so if you find yourself in a situation where you're not happy, it doesn't happen.

Not particularly. I had something more or less arranged then I started seeing my now girlfriend and decided to focus my efforts on her.

It just re-iterated to me the fact even her own family hated her now.

Win win from my perspective
She was a bonny little thing mind mate.

Surely you would organise them together - e.g. find other couples for swapsies. Or attend parties. Do do it together etc.

I don't think an open relationship would work if after the first month your lass had been bucked by three dozen men and your best achievement was buying a fat lass a kebab at 3am before being sacked off.

So essentially 'swinging', is that really the same as a truly open relationship? I worked with a lad who's lass was a pornstar. Despite spending her 9 to 5 bucking blokes every which way while he worked in an office, he somehow ended up smitten with her.

He lost his loaf when he found out she was out dating on the side. He broke up with her and went on a right bad'un. Being in his circle of friends it was difficult to offer any advice, clearly she'd broken the rules of the relationship but obviously they didn't have the same level of tolerance.

I've got another mate who got a text off his lass saying 'I'm licking my friends pussy and we want you to come down.', so he binned her off immediately as he hates lesbians!

I've no idea how an open relationship could work personally. Surely it's a matter of time until some party calls foul.

Thats not how it works though. For example, you can book a double double room in a certain hotel, and you basically swap with whoever is in the other bed. You accept that as part of the deal, regardless of who they are.
You also have to suspend "your do I fancy them?" response and accept that you're there to perform a function. The ex turned up to meet lasses online who turned out to be 20 years older or nowt like their photos and she just got on with it rather than making a sharp exit, as that was the accepted way to carry on.

jammy bastard
Greatest 6 months of my life.

Can think of 3 examples.

Couple A seemed not at all bothered about the other flirting, joking like "should have seen him staggering in with lipstick allover his shirt" etc but seemed devastated the once each went further.

Couple B were more or less broke up, 30ish with 4 kids, neither gave a shite, didn't bother either, bloke was not arsed that lads were fingering his then lass in the same bar. Was bizzare to see.

Couple C: A rep of a hire firm we used was invited to his bosses gaff for a party, had no idea they`d be expected to partake in a load of bucking!
Xmas doo soon after (jingling gate iirc), his boss n wife, both bi swingers, wifey spinning on bar stool with no knickers on, loads having a go on her, then she went home alone and he bummer one of the barmen out the back!!!!

So varying degrees of success, personally couldn't think of out worse than seeing my lass get bucked (complete wrong un you Mows!!!!)

Watched a documentary on it and a good looking late 20s couple turned up at this hagged 50 odd year olds and had to get on with it. Bet it felt like xmas to the old fucker!

Ive been slated for saying it before, but I dont think we were meant to be with just one person. Id have loved to have been in a relationship like that, at least to see how it was, but Ive never found a woman with the same views (im on about women in a serious relationship, not just a woman you're sort of seeing).
Might be because you have realised you can never have a normal conversation with them where their views remain normal and constant, not changing their mind every minute because of the silver red fluffy bullet.
