Anybody Got A Bad Feeling About Michut?

I just hope everything (contract etc) is already agreed, so all we need to do is pay the money to activate it. I'd agree that, if we need to agree terms etc, it's a worry that loads of other clubs could just come in and offer more. I'd like to think we wouldn't be daft enough to be in that position though (I know!), there's not really any point in having an agreed fee if anyone else can just come in and offer higher wages
It said before everything, wages etc had already been agreed. Contracts mean nothing in football though.

I know it's all written and agreed at £2.5m/ £5m, wages agreed etc.

Surely Fulham know this also, so why are they constantly being linked with him?

Obviously they want to unsettle him here and land him for a couple of million to us in compo if we don't go up, say £4.5 m

Premier league, higher wages, closer to home, London lifestyle......it's a no- brainier tbh.

Unfortunately I can see a few more getting Premier moves as well. Namely Patto, Clarke, Neil.

Would be a shame but we all know that's the model.
I like Dan Neil but no PL teams will be putting a bid in.

The fact is if a premier league side takes a shine to one of the lads and makes premier league cash available then they are gone. It's up to the new regime to make sure we get compensated properly.
Of your list Patto is the most likely to leave soon.
Michut and Neil clearly need more gametime at this level.
Clarke has already been bounced out of the Premier league once so he'll need a very strong season to get back on their radar.

I would imagine He is happier here now He is a regular starter which will have helped call up to French u21 squad.
Moves to Fulham He will be back to a bit part squad player.
Stay here another couple of seasons, develop more and move to Premier when he is ready to be a regular starter (hopefully with us) and get better wages
No player has ever turned down a.move to a higher league in order to "develop" :)

I'm not sure we'll get him if the price they want is 5 mill considering we spent around 6 in total last summer.

He's left PSG to play first team football. Money talks but it seems an odd move to go from being a bit part player at PSG to a bit part player at Fulham.

The model is to sell a player or 2 absolute tops at the top of the market value each season / transfer window.

If teams offer shit money we don't sell.

Nobody on this board knows the full ins and outs of the Michut loan / option to buy deal. I would be surprised if a premier league team was interested in him to be honest. Let's face it, he isn't in the top 10 championship midfielders. He obviously has potential but that's it at the moment.
