anybody found

In all fairness / seriousness Ned I hope it's recovered as I hate to think of bairns being upset missing their babbas (unless of course it's yours and quite frankly you're a bit too old for that kind of thing ;)).
He's been asking for it all night, it's his first (and favourite) bedtime cuddle. Gutted it's gone, somewhere between the One Stop and the marina. Had to be on my watch didn't it......

Don't worry, the internet detectives from the Missing Woman in Lancashire thread will soon be on the case, along with that diver bloke.
I actually mean people from twitter etc
Be wary though, you may be accused of doing the dirty deed and have them digging around for info on you to make wild accusations with their crazy theories.

Something similar happened to us last year. Daughter lost her giraffe comforter she’s had since birth that that was customised to say it was from her auntie(who passed a long time before she was born). She was point blank refusing to go on holiday the next week without it and of course the bloody thing had been discontinued. Anyway we managed to find one on eBay have it shipped next day delivery and a lovely young lass local to us who does embroidery recreated the customisation. Even refused any coin as the same thing happened to her as a nipper. Just means she’s had repeat custom from us for other things since then

Anyway hope you manage to find it or get a suitable replaced sorted as I know the struggle

Not sure. Saw something which looks very similar but can't be sure as the original is so mashed it's hard to tell
My eldest son lost his favourite cuddly toy when my dad took him out for an afternoon. Thankfully someone handed it in to the nearby leisure complex office.

When the youngest son arrived we bought two of any toy that he was really attached to, I.E. we quickly re-ordered anything we could online, to act as a spare/replacement.

I’m sure that if anyone finds it then they’ll leave it nearby, you need to retrace your route. Good luck.

I refused to let my kids get too attached to one thing for this very reason.

My nephew walked about with a fleece blanket that he sat on, put in his mouth, slept in, wrapped around him all day every day of his life until he was about 6 and refused to have it washed. I vowed to avoid that as much as possible.

Always remember having my daughter in the trolley in tescos. She had a peppa & a George cuddly. Anyway, near the end of the shop she said ā€œwhere’s George?ā€. Circled that bastard shop about 6 times. Nowt. Think I felt worse than her. Managed to buy another one from asda a few days later.

Mad how daft things like this suddenly become very important when it’s your kid

Re-traced the route last night in the dark, and sparrow-fart in the light today. No joy. Can only assume some dog walker has picked it up for his pooch or someone has launched it. Have ordered what I think (hope) is the correct replacement off Amazon, arrives the morra.
Good news
