Anybody cut their grass yet?

The sand work well? One thing i havent tried. I find the best ferts are the liquid mix,the cheap stuff from wilkos works a treat. Better than any evergreen. Had back garden looking like a pitch.



Loads have it now but most of the time it looks awful. There is one house near me where it does look real. Only one ive seen worth getting

How does it look after a mow? I like to water my lawn with ice cubes

Spring starts in 6 days so not long to wait (though at 16 degrees today it has sprung already, next weekend will probably be cut #2 of the year!)

Would leave to mid / late March in case there are more frosts / snow to come

Give the lawn a good rake in case there’s dead leaves etc

Look to scarify / aerate late March or April

Workmen outside the house have cut through my automower cable despite me telling them it was there and offering to move it if they needed to dig on my property. Not only have they done it once and told me. They did it again after that. I despair.
My first cut will have to wait a couple of weeks yet.
