Any exiles wishing they were home due to our form?

Sadly that's true as much as I console myself with Sky/links etc.

Having a few pints amongst all those 'like-minded' people wearing red&white, walking up to the ground and cheering the Lads onto the pitch takes some beating ........ the feeling when we scored at Spurs couldn't be explained to anyone who hasn't experienced it.

I torment myself over every match going through Easyjet and BMI, over and over, until I convince myself one way or the other. I'd go to every match if I could and feel sick when I miss those like last week.

£700 a shot for the return flights from here. Just can't afford it

I agree with this 100%. I've met a lot of English expats here in Shanghai that complain about home endlessly and it drives me mad. I have a good life here and don't currently have any plans to move back permanently but I love coming home a couple of times a year. Real pubs, football, friends.

I'm back early December for a couple of weeks so going to Fulham and Bolton. Can't wait.

Yeah, I'm going to Fulham, away tickets anarl.

I love the UK and, like you, despair with people who constantly criticise the place while turning a convenient blind eye to the problems with their new home.

I always ask the expats, in the south of France, if they'd still be here for the 'wonderful locals, culture and cuisine' if the climate and scenery were like Finland ........... they always say they would, liars

I sympathise mate but I'm sure you love to be back for the derby or the match when we qualify for Europe ........ I chose the Spurs match, over Chelsea, 'cos I don't like giving money to Abramovich. Idiot
