Was only a matter of time before people started taking the law into their own hands unfortunately.
And smashing windows?

Tit for tat sectarian/racial warfare heading to a town near you soon.
Dunno what can be done to stop it.
The blood for oil crusades of the last couple of decades have a lot to answer for.
Opened up a veritable Pandora's box of strife.
You reap what you sow

a door was cracked open a little nearly 3 years ago, it is going to take some time before we can get it closed again

Because for generations we have played god in the home of islam, drawing borders, toppling regimes and even creating new countries. The innocent suffered and, over generations, resentment grew. Leading to what we now call islamic extremism where their fanatics are killing innocent people. In response to this, far right extremists have started to kill innocent people. We're still playing god there and even this week a prominent western leader has decided to redraw borders and more innocent people will suffer.

Hope this helps.

LOL

Well I suppose if people affiliated to a certain cult start setting off bombs on buses, trains and pop concerts killing and maiming men, women and children then it's always possible that you may get some kind of reaction.

...and they would say they are doing it as retaliation to the innocents being killed in Syria, Iraq, Afganistan etc.

You're reaction is also part of the problem, you sound like you're happy about the right wing attacks, like its deserving:rolleyes:

Not from civilised, cultured people who were bought up in a religion that urges them to turn the other cheek and love their fellow man shirley?
Quite.

Muslim father hugs man convicted in son's killing: 'I forgive you'

'I have forgiven him': A look at some of the victims of the New Zealand mosque attacks

Although...obviously not proper worshippers of Big Bad Mo.

And six of our finest patriots arrested for an attack on a Islamic Centre in Newcastle according to n/e news tonight.

Who the fuck are you to say what I'm thinking and happy with because of one sentence you've read on a message board.
Your polarised reaction is typical of some of the people who engage in these discussions with their limited intelligence.
Believe me it's agenda ridden numpties like you who are the problem.

We caused islamic extremism? Just plain wrong that and I'd suggest you check your history. Do you remember that coach full of Germans being massacred in Egypt simply for being European? That was in the 80s before the first Iraq war. Why did a muslim scholar say in 2016 at one of the top Islamic universities that Isis are terrorists, but we could never call them heretics? The argument that we caused Islamic extremism is just plain wrong, It's been around for centuries in one form or another -ask the peoples of Eastern Europe.

Half right.

The extremism that exists today was created by a madman called the Ayatollah Khomeini. He invented blowing yourself up for Allah when he used half a million illiterate children as human minesweepers. It didn't happen before him. Blowing yourself up for Allah happened because the Ayatollah was loosing too many troops - no other reason.

We helped the growth of Daesh through the Iraq war - not creating the extremism - that much is true. On the other side Ul Haq did his bit to cultivate religious extremism - before him half a million muslims came from India (now Pakistan) to fight with us against the Ottomans during WWI.

But GK is also correct in saying that colonialism didn't help in the middle east. Although the French were more culpable than us lot though in the spreading of colonial resentment after WWI in the divvying up of the Ottoman Empire.

Six people have been arrested after an Islamic Centre in Newcastle was ransacked last night.

At about 9pm last night police received a report that a group of teenagers had broken in to the Bahr Academy on Benwell Lane.

Officers attended the Islamic Centre, which used to be the set for the TV show Byker Grove, and discovered significant damage had been caused.

It followed a break-in at the centre in January where racist graffiti was daubed on the walls of the centre. The offenders for that incident were never identified.

On this occasion copies of the Quran had been ripped up and left on the floor while windows at the building had also been smashed.

Police enquiries into the break-in have been ongoing and now they have revealed that six people have been arrested.

An 18-year-old woman, two 16-year-old boys, two 14-year-old boys and a 14-year-old girl have been arrested and remain in police custody at this time.

Now Neighbourhood Inspector Alan Davison has confirmed police are treating the incident as a hate crime and described the behaviour as "unacceptable".

He said: "This is a very distressing incident for members of the Bahr Academy, particularly as it is the second break-in this year.

"Although there is not the same racist graffiti as we saw in the first incident, we are treating this as a hate crime.

"We are aware of the impact incidents of this nature can have on the community and I want to be clear that this type of behaviour is completely unacceptable.

“Our officers have visited the Bahr Academy again today and are working with them to put further measures in place to try and prevent anything like this happening again.

“High visibility patrols will be taking place around the academy following this incident and anyone with any concerns is encouraged to speak to those officers.”

Anyone with information about the break-in is encouraged to contact police on 101 quoting log 1160 25/03/19.
