Another two goals for Johnson Clarke Harris today

Was thinking this as it came up on 5live. If we were bothered about promotion he could have done a job

Available in January for the right money.

HMMMMM @Safc98
Why would a one in five striker at this level "do a job"? We'd still be at this level and would be stuck with a £5m striker (which certainly isn't "the right money" for me), who doesn't score in this league.

It's a no from me.

12 goals and you think wedve been challenging for the top 2? Bearing in mind there's 17 players in this league with 10 goals or more and there's still a lot to games to play.

The fact he has 18 in league one at this stage compared to the whole of last season in the championship tells me he's not good enough for the championship.

He was playing for team that an appalling championship campaign and were comfortably relegated. Kevin Phiilps scored 7 when we were relegated

He would score goals in our team

So, we pay say 4m for Clarke Harris in January to cover for Stewart while he's injured, so basically pay that for 5 months until the summer, then Stewart gets fit, then have no use for the lazy, bad attitude fuck and try and fob him off before the September window. Class.

First was a penalty.
They scored 5.

On top of that. We’re struggling to adapt to playing with a new lad “up top”, never mind one that plays for oeterborogh

And we have been promoted to the Premier league with his goals so can happily write off the £4 million we paid for him

Sounds like @wicketkeeper hasn't learnt from the lessons that got us relegated, twice, in the first place.

If only it worked like that. Honestly, cloud cuckoo land springs to mind.
Well one thing was for absolute sure-once we did not bring in a decent striker we waved our promotion hopes goodbye.

Tony Mowbray says Sunderland's lack of strikers left him feeling he was sending his team into battle 'without the tools to win' as they were beaten at Coventry City.

We tried to bring in the right striker that fits the model.. It didn't happen.. Sooner fans accept the model is here to stay the better. This season has not been a failure in the slightest.
