Thought t all,the officials were poor yesterday

Should mic them up,& let them explain their decisions like they do in the NFL

Be no confusion then
I think the East stand linesman in the first half, he had it in his mind if Defoe had the ball he must be offside

The problem is we talk every other week about refs having bad games, some very regular. The fact is that refereeing standards are poor.

See you still unwilling to look for the reasons why, if you believe standards are poor why is that?

Is it too hard? or is it built into a refs DNA, that they good all their career, but turn shit soon as they enter the premier league.

I think it's simply too difficult for one pair of eyes to make correct decisions in today's modern football, soo mistakes are inevitable?

Not trying to be awkward mate, really not, but I honestly cannot understand why fans don't say.

'f***ing hell for one bloke with one pair eyes, with all the cheating, directives, confusing over the rules, pace of the game we making his job near enough impossible,we need to help this bloke'

Rather than constantly berating them with words like idiots.

The thing is Hank, all they would say is from the one look I had I thought it was foul/offside etc, replays may prove me wrong, but that's what I thought at the time.

Surely we no that answer without it been explained?

I noticed he was doing the holding is wrist up high thing 5 minutes into the 15 minutes it took Fabio to walk off

Another cut and paste from Marriner thread a short time ago. How many times a season do we have to have these discussions of the incompetence of your profession\friends?

The very fact we have these discussions a lot, I think proves my point, that it's too difficult and help is needed.

Regular discussions about refs mistakes,IMO shows we need technology to help them

But it isnt one pair if eyes. Its supposed to be him, two assistants and a fourth official. Unless they dont listen to the others. Refs have pre conceived ideas as to what they will give. Anichebe was consistently fouled and he couldnt fail to see it.

Roughly is it mate it is still just human eyes,,my point is I actually agree with your point that too many mistakes are made.

I mean think back last 15/20 years how many good refs has there been? I would say very few, and why because in today's modern football world with all the passion TV camera angles etc, and focus on inevitable mistakes, refs will never be perceived as good.

Of course you will have refs who have good and bad games and yes the ref had a bad game yesterday.

But in answer to your point about why they constantly poor like you say, the answer and evidence is staring us in the face, it's simply too difficult and mistakes are absouletly inevitable, and until technology is introduced we will always have discussions about refs very regularly like you say, nothing is more sure.

Help is required I am absolutely convinced of that.

You might be right with technology. Hiwever regarding mistakes, I haven't watched the match on telly yet so I saw tge mistakes with my two eyes, and so did probably 40,000 others.

Like I said mate,I agree he had a bad game yesterday.

My point is more of a general one, in that these bad games will always happen, unless they are helped with technology.

Evidence shows this every week, as you said yourself these discussions happen too often and always will without technology.

There is simply too much money involed, too much importance to be left to simply human eyes.

The lad that trying to con the ref with that outrageous dive first half should've been yellow carded (1 match ban if I had my way like).

Any footage of it kicking about?

You don't want to answer any questions to widen the debate. I ask again if the best refs in the league regularly make bad decisions then surely that must tell you the job much harder than you think?

Yes of course some refs are better than others and will make more mistakes but there hasn't been a ref ever in the world who hasn't had a number if bad games and made some shocking decisions. Surely that must tell any sensible person this job is much harder than they think

If he is one of the best the rest must be dire. The job harder than I think? If we can see the fouls etc from where we are why cant four officials who are closer. So what did you want to interview me about?

The very fact hardly any ref over the last 25 years or so has been perceived as actually a good ref by the fans, proves your point totally imo.

Let me get this straight you belive you wouldn't make the same mistakes that every ref in the world makes? Have you ever made a call from the stands them looked back and been proved wrong?

Amrabat the cheating bastard.

I've never understand why they aren't booked for diving if it isn't a foul.

Or just like players he could have had a bad game yesreday and good games in other games.

Do you think that is logical or else would not have got promoted to premier league in the first place if dire all the time?
