Another rubbish ref

I used to have respect for Watford until today. It was like playing Hull as they were falling down at the slightest touch.
aye, will be rooting for them to lose every game from now on the grim feckers!

He was poor. The handball freekcik at the end - when the ball hit the watford player on the shoulder was shocking.

Overall, one of the better performances this season from a ref.
to me he was shit in the first half
then had a little spell in the opening half hour of the second half where he gave us everything
then went back to being shit

The usual defenders will be on here. They will defend him. They should have been at Nuremberg some may have got off!

Have you cut and paste his from the Marriner thread from a few weeks ago

No just stating the facts mate, everything else is opinion.

However what is fact is that a ref, gets one look from one angle and has spilt second to decide and that is the reason why loads of mistakes will and always have been made.

People are too busy criticising them and using easy words like useless and idiots rather than working out why these mistakes are made and coming up with suggestions on how to help them.

It's so f***ing obvious that asking a bloke to use the same tools he had a 100 years ago (his eyes) is a recipe for mistakes, especially with the pace of the game and players so adapt at cheating making non fouls look like fouls.

Technology is needed to help them,it is really that simple, calling them useless idiots achieves fuck all.

If there all usless idiots like you say why do you think that is?

We all saw them with the same tools. Useless idiots

No defending, again, the indefensible. Like yourself. He made the right decisions today, did he?

Can you point to any place where me or him said he had a good game?

Do you belive if you were a ref and worked your wsy up to premier league level you wouldn't have bad games like the ref did today?

Another cut and paste from Marriner thread a short time ago. How many times a season do we have to have these discussions of the incompetence of your profession\friends?

You haven't answered the question. How many times do we need to go through this before you realise the job is much much harder than you think?

We all saw these things. Four of them didnt. They need to say why not us. And they were closer. So he had a bad game again then?

it wasn't just down to his "opinion based" mistakes that made him shit today, he wasn't applying basic rules correctly.

The diving - He knew armrabat dived. It's the most blatent booking you'll ever see. He appealed for the freekick. There was no contact. There was a swandive. No freekick given (correctly). It's a booking all day.

Stopping play for injuries. Refs are supposed to do this in the case of head injuries. He (wrongly) thought anichebe had accidentally caught that lad in the face, drop ball. Love was down injured, not his head, play on. Anichebe got caught, started limping about, drop ball. Wtf?

Most of the refs are bad but equally and consistently bad but that knob today tried to help Watford all he could what a tragic ref he is

Again you fail to answer a questing put to you and choose to ramble

Wow a referee had a bad game and made some bad decisions. It's been happening throughout the football world since the game was invented. It's hardly going to stop now

Anichebe constantly fouled. Pushing us for wasting time but they did all game until we scored.
Second half he tried to even it up but this is the legend Bobbie Madeley who sent off sideshowberb. He was shite today mind.

Stop it man you're embarrassing.

The problem is we talk every other week about refs having bad games, some very regular. The fact is that refereeing standards are poor.

The linesman on the east side was shite anarl, give Defoe offside a few times when he wasn't and Pva onside when he was atleast a couple of foot off

Onside, I don't think he was on the pitch. He crossed it in from a betting booth up in the concourse

I thought he was awful, everytime a Watford player flopped down on the deck he gave a freekick and the handball - even the watford players had no clue what it was about.
But the usual defenders of refs are on here, who probably haven't seen the game. They don't just "have a bad game" they are regularly poor.
