The Situation
Striker
I saw a hand go up mind but who's was it?
His hand went up because he was jumping.
The ball hit Deeney's shoulder and he gave a free kick for handball against Papy

two Watford players put theball out from Sunderland crosses, no safc near, deflects out off a watford playerfor a goal kickThe linesman on the east side was shite anarl, give Defoe offside a few times when he wasn't and Pva onside when he was atleast a couple of foot off
Bobby Madeley
He should go back to breakfast tellyBobby Madeley
As ive said for a while you need independent refereein away from the FA and corporate interestsWell that explains it. Referees seem to get away with murder. They never have to answer for their mistakes. Yes they have a hard job but they don't make things easy for themselves. They need to be more consistent, they give a foul for something and then another time the exact same thing happens and they wave play on.
We have to far to oftenHe was woeful but you can't call referees on here.
I've tried having reasonable discussions on here in the past about poor refs but it just doesn' t happen.
He was shite
What are these assessors watching? As ive said for a while you need independent refereein away from the FA and corporate interests
How many times gave we seen something like it?The hand ball at the end I'm not sure he was going to give it until the crowd shouted handball, did he think the home crowd would shout for hand ball if it was against us. I had a horrible feeling they'd equalise from the free kick because it would be typical of our bloody luck
Too many to countHow many times gave we seen something like it?
Equally he could easily have booked Denayer, Papy and N'Dong and let a few questionable tackles go by all three of them. And we don't need any of them picking up suspension.
I think he was generally shite rather than favouring Watford.
Yes and today, again, it was against usWell that explains it. Referees seem to get away with murder. They never have to answer for their mistakes. So he wasnt biased but just rubbishAppalling officiating today. They gave a couple of awful decisions our way (PVA being about 6 foot offside in the first half, and Denayer making the most blatant foul ever in the middle of the pitch) but he gave even more shit decisions the other way. The phantom handball could have cost us the win.

Anichebe suffered Niall Quinn syndrome. Because he is big he can't be fouled.Think he was better in the second half. Wonder if he watched some highlights of his performance in the 1st half. It's something they should do I think. Give them a chance to right some wrongs in the same game.
One of the worst offsides you're likely to seeamazing how the linesman didn't see that.
