Another Great Sunderland’ish band - Hooton 3 Car

Blackpool Boy

Reserve Squad
Mixed by lifelong Mackem Frankie Stubbs (Leatherface) in the early 90’s - released on Rumblestrip Records.

Outstanding release for a bunch of young lads - still stands the test of time 🧡.

Listen here for freemans - Hooton 3 Car - Spot Daylight, by UK 90's Punk

Hooton 3 Car were a great live band too - toured all over (including Japan) and released 3 excellent albums and a couple more singles ...

I’ve lost touch with the lads in the band now - think the band originated from Consett ... don’t know their football allegiances but I imagine FS would have checked before letting them in the studio 🤣🤣🤣

.... actually they have their own Bandcamp page now if u want the box set - Recordings: 1994-1998, by Hooton 3 Car - lovely stuff 💪

Definitely scousers in the band. Sure the name came from the train they used to get home. To Hooton with 3 carriages!

Band I was a member of in the mid 90s did a CD with a load of other bands from The Bunker on it - Out of the Bunker.

H3C were on it as well.
