Annual appraisals are similar to the like button on here. I hope you asked your management to run a poll to see who else in your organisation wants rid of them.

Most places do that mind. I’ve never worked anywhere that hasn’t, but I managed to escape annual reviews for years thanks to working a load of fixed term contracts.
