Ok "Reserve". Smart arse. Either way you have paid for your travel and specifically your travel in that seat
no. ticket gives you a right to travel, not the right to a seat. the seat is complementary but the ticket reservation doesn't 'entitle' you to a seat. why do you think the guards never force people to move when they're in your seat?

its not like the TGV in France where when you pay for a ticket you have to travel in your seat (there's no standing allowed)

Interesting... Surely if you've booked a seat people should move for you if you've booked it.
