Can't understand what people are happy about..... signed a player not one of us have seen..... Let's hope he's good moyes must certainly think so..... but our attacking options are pathetic.
Moyes seems to love a centre half or a defensive midfielder like

I would seriously sign him tomorrow. If fact, I'd consider signing him anyway even if ulloa had arrived as I think we could do with a target man.

I agree, if we'd have paid money for him I wouldn't have been fussed. I think we need a target man and it looks like he has been keeping fit.

It's gunna be this guy. He's still only 28, but he was released by West Brom FFS
I'm more worried he's 28 than 35 for some reason. He should be at the height of his game but can't get a contract? At least if he was old there'd be an excuse. If we get him, hopefully Moyes will be able to kickstart him again. Whilst not a "dream team" Defoe, Anichibe & Bendtner wouldn't be a bad strike force would it?!

tbf he usually plays well against us and would be a big typical no nonsense non-scoring forward.

he'll give us cover and will be different. better than nowt?

God we've had a few of those over the years . We used to moan about Danny Dichio and Kevin Kyle back in the day but at least they put the ball in the net from time to time. Since then we've had a string of BTNNNSFs who have in particular focused on the non-scoring bit. I'm not particularly keen on adding to the list, personally.

whilst true he used to chip in with goals from time to time under Moyes.

I'm hoping the old manager trick might work.
