You beautyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy !

....bit of a joke like though, as much as he is a tosser, he is a character in the game. Soon the world will be full of beige cardboard cut outs like Jamie Redknapp, and the PC brigade will have won...mental.

And this.

Who do you think leaked the tapes of him being sexist? Sky. And why would Sky do that to their own employees? Because one of them, a certain Mr Gray, is suing a newspaper owned by the same person that owns Sky, the cuntfuck, Rupert Murdoch. He's been set up.

I agree, no surprise they have got rid of Gray but Keys is staying.

Just watching Sky News and Kay Burley is loving all this.
Some bloke was trying to defuse it by saying it was banter that shouldn't have happened in the studio and she was wedging the knife in saying it was uncalled for under any circumstances.

I really really fcuking hope the next time some woman presenter makes a comment about blokes - a man flu gag, a men-can't do two things at once remark or a he looks good in shorts/something along those lines - she is sacked on the f***ing spot!!

No. A women wouldn't get sacked for making any remarks about the ability of males. Liz just made a comment about how a women would have noticed her mic was on. That would be passed off as banter in every walk of life.

They probably would get in some sort of trouble if they were excessive.

However, the workplace has, historically, been predominantly male, and even today while mroe and more women are working there is still a sort of superiority amongst males. Glass ceilings and all that.

A white man gets in more trouble for making a remark about a black man than vice versa. Does that mean we should all post four little smileys and call everything 'utter f***ing bollocks' when someone is reprimanded for racism because the system isn't 100% far?

pressure getting to her already. A bloke would get on with what he's paid to do. Suppose that's sexist anarl.

Yes it is, actually. And of course it makes sense for her to remove herself or be removed from the limelight tonight, she's not supposed to be the story and she's the innocent one in all of this.

I love characters as well. I miss Jim Davidson. And those two from On the Buses.

she won't be because it's perfectly acceptable for women to crack the jokes. Double standard shite.

It's not about whether or not a woman would be able to get away with saying something similar. For me, you don't say these things because it's not gentlemanly. If people on here think being able to make jokes about a woman is the cornerstone of manhood then I question your honour, and will happily duel with you

cue stories in the papers of other female sky staff coming forward with stories of his sexist behaviour,,and that female lineswoman being represented by max cliffird

It is actually. You're assuming she's doing it because of the pressure. Perhaps she just doesn't want to be the number one attraction?

Plenty male footballers have pulled out of actually playing in games when they have been under media scrutiny, many of whom had to be replaced my reserves or inferior squad members. That's the same thing but you just carry on, don't mention that. Keep putting  faces and everything you post will seem correct.

Not bothered in the slightest he gets on my wick, used to enjoy it when you could turn the sound to crowd only in the early days of Sky cannot do that now he will turn up on ESPN or something

I'd love Kay Burley to drop dead live on air, f***ing parasitic slut.

A woman wouldn't have been sacked over making remarks about another woman's performance? No. Just in the same way Andy Grey hasn't been sacked for all the comments he has made about the performance of male referees and linesmen over the years.

It's ok saying someone is shite, or can't do a job - but to say their ability is determined by pre-determined criteria like race/sex is wrong.

Rubbish. Both are as inappropriate as the other. Even worse when he criticises male refs/linesmen he does it on air and nothing is done - which should be seen as much more defiant to the "rules". What they said was off air, a bit of banter. They shouldn't be discussing it in the work place but loads of people say things in the privacy of their own homes and it should be just that - private! If I was sky I'd be more worried that I have employees willing to break confidentiality agreements, steal audio and sell in to the press to line their pockets.

A suspension and apology would have sufficed.

Apparantly she can't do it as she is having a particularly heavy period and the wings on her f@nnypad are causing terrible inner leg chafing. She has been replaced with a linesMAN. ;)

No, but it should be noted that the system isn't fair. Some would have us believe it is and that those groups of people concerned should have more rights than the majority.

Seems nailed on for ESPN now, like - especially as he and Keys covered the World Cup for ESPN America.
