Aye. He's missed a hell of a lot of football at key development stage in his career.
Niall Quinn says he had a successful time at Sunderland because he didn't play as often during his spell at Arsenal

He's a cracking player when fit and I'd be happy if it was for a few million and cheap wages. But it wouldn't be and he won't be.

Its a good point. The game is different now though. A lot quicker and I would say Carrolls strength is his biggest assest. Obviously we don't know the root cause of his problem either so he might just get over it one day. Everybody is different.

In the last 4 seasons, he's averaged 22.5 league games per season and 4.5 goals per season.

He's injury prone and shit. We should stay well clear of him.

When Andy Carroll first came to attention I thought he was wonderful. Ok, a greasy maggot , but what a player. Unfortunately injuries have prevented him from becoming the player he should have been.

Id have him without doubt. when fit he is tremendous. Scared the shit out of me when he played against us. However anyone we sign turns to shit immediately

It all started when he fell of that stool while pissed in a casino. Detached something in his knee and he's never been same again.

Or so the story goes anyway.

We are not Newcastle United reserves!!!
I had a bad dream the other day that there was one new football club one new stadium in between Newcastle & Sunderland & the Club was called North East United with Red & Black strips......bad dream lads & lasses....
