Ian Hislop had a decent pop at Andrew Marr on the radio this morning:

Turns out that a Labour politician is [allegedly] the real father of the child Andrew Marr was paying child support for.
What a Balls-up.
I wonder what her guide dog is called?
"protect the privacy of her family and her guide dog"![]()
Who would give a shit?![]()
Anyone remotely bothered about their own freedom of expression.
These super-injunctions are setting law through courts not Parliament. In theory, councils or companies can now use injunctions to prevent people in dispute with them from going public (it's already happened, apparently).
Also, if you were to have it off with someone rich/famous, they can take out an injunction to prevent you talking about the relationship - even though it should be a basic right for you to be able to talk about all aspects of your own life if you choose to.
As for Andrew Marr...how can he, as a journalist, question politicians or lawyers on this increasingly important story when he himself has resorted to a super-injunction. He should resign.
