If I was PDC I'd be pissed off that what he asked for 3 months ago has never really been addressed or properly invested in. He couldn't have made it anymore clear that he wanted Huddlestone in!
I think he is mate he's said as much, they've fucked him over and he will take the fall for it if it continues with the results. It's the downside of this director of football.

Aye De Fanti has had a shocker. Promised so much but has messed it up massively. Feel for PDC. Fans expect him to be a miracle worker when, in fact, the overall squad is probably better than last year, but the first 11 arguably isn't

Looks permanent apparently, good or bad news?

At worst he's cover at left back, people seem to be forgetting we are playing a stand in LB with literally no cover in case of injury/suspension at the minute.

It's one problem area sort of done, move into sorting the horrific midfield, please.

We did need a left back.

I'm more concerned we are selling sess and bringing nobody in and still have shite in Cm.

There's always someone to blame, someone that's fucked up ... or even worse, deliberately thrown a spanner in the works.

We need to find out who that is and then really go for them on the ether.

Unless it's just that we're a provincial club in an unfashionable area, unwilling to pay big money and with no real prospects of doing anything - no, ridiculous, it couldn't be that ... forget it, virtual pitchforks it is.

Yes I think you have a point, the squad needed improving but we urgently require more quality in the first eleven. I suspect the Outlaw Jozy and Jack in the box are improvements but a real quality midfielder is what we are crying out for.

He was their record signing last season though....it would be like us letting Fletcher go on loan. Some of Swansea's fans reckon he's only 5th choice in CM.....expecting a lot of him to come here and radically change ours. He can pass the ball mind, i'll give him that but without someone alongside him providing a bit of steel i think he'll get overrun. According to their fans he's lightweight and lazy.

A better analogy would be Gyan. We let him go out on loan a season after making him our record signing.

I did think of that one initially because, as you say it seems similar but the difference was that Gyan and his agent fucked us about to get a move and our hands were tied. Ki on the other hand just seems surplus to requirements at Swansea.

Of course he's nowhere near our first choice but what do you expect when we've been unlucky with left backs in this window? Mendy was taken off us at the last minute by Marseille, Orban wanted more money when that was almost done, Oczipka turned us down, Benito bid was rejected, Liverpool signed Cissokho, De Ceglie didn't want to leave Juve and Spurs are not interested in selling Rose.
Think we're all a bit pissed off that this year as it looked like finally were going to sort out lb after failing to get any of our primary targets over the line it would seem that a multitude if secondary target also didn't

He once was a pretty decent player.. Would have been a cracking signing for Sunderland a few years ago.. but looks like he lost it.. he is old, lost quickness, struggles with injuries..
