God aye, use them sparingly. I usually stack my homemade pizzas with toppings and I sharp learned not to do that with anchovies. Gave me a proper Esther Rantzen.If you don't have any anchovies, just add a kilo of salt to your recipes for the same affect.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had is in San Sebastián. It’s bonito tuna in olive oil, a few anchovies and guindilla peppers which are pickled and just have a slight kick. Tremendous.

I love them but not touched an anchovy since I got gout.Probably the worst food item you can eat if you suffer from Gout.... Bloody lovely though
On hot crusty bread with "best" butter and fresh tomato sauce. Optional sprinkling of chilli seeds on the top.Impeccably nice arent they.

Just had a lovely anchovie pasta, (spaghetti) good few tomatoes, few chillies, tiny bit garlic, big tablespoon of mascaponi, to give it a bit creaminess. Then a bit black pepper, and a bit parmesan (optional) dont always have it with this pasta.
So Anchovies, any other lovely recipes that include these, love them me.
