4 wins in 22.

16 points from the last 21 games.

Playing away at Brighton with no strikers on the pitch but strikers on the bench, and this is after saying he's going to take the cups seriously.

"Judge me on Bents replacement" Well I'm still waiting.

Playing people out of position.

Still no left back.

If we do hit a bad run it's just not 3/4 games it has been 12/13/14 games.

Constantly looking for excuses.

Tactically inept.

That's just some of the reasons why I want Bruce out.

Been a season ticket holder for years and always will be but enough is enough for me.

Summed up quite well

This is an appeal to those forum users who are so full of venom towards our manager .

Please take a little time to step back and count your blessings . Think where the club was , or perhaps you have not been around long enough to remember ? Begin to focus your attention on supporting Sunderland AFC not attacking an individual . You will feel better , you will enjoy your football more and be more willing and able to give vocal support to the players in red and white stripes .

The attack on Steve Bruce is making us the laughing stock of the football world . My contacts throughout England ( and in Newcastle ) cant believe the ignorance ( that sums it up ) , short sightedness , fickleness and hatred demonstrated by a minority of so called Sunderland supporters .

Steve Bruce is a good bloke , passionate for success at Sunderland and I believe will prove to be the best manager we have had . Steve Bruce is held in high esteem by football managers . I firmly believe that at the end of the next eight game period we will be in the top eight .If this is the case then I will be a very happy man . I look forward to getting behind the club at the next game as I have done for the last 50 years .

Should Steve Bruce go then I would imagine that the same ill feeling will go towards the next manager after a couple of years . A new manager does not guarantee success or better football .

I would suggest that the majority of the anti Steve Bruce brigade are of relatively young years and have been fed on a diet of sky highlights and the wonder of the Premeiership .

I would also suggest that many of the anti brigade take a crash course in English language . You will find that the English dictionary is full of some wonderful , thoughtful words which help you to explain your thoughts clearly and constructively . I am also amazed to at the number of experts we have out there obviouslly highly qualified in both coaching and finacial management . I wonder where I gain gain these qualifications within a couple of months ?

Pure horse-shit,neither young in years or sky highlights....
We are living for today and the current plight which isn't good so angst towards Bruce is applicable...

so when does the OP suggest it's acceptable to start a Bruce campaign ....April/March when we're almost relegated ?

Summed up quite well

I agree with all of this and would add no LM

I also agree with u in many respects, however when u look at the stats u cannot honestly expect fans who r spending thousands a season to follow there beloved team to accept being 2-0 down at home after 5 minutes against the mighty west brom, after suffering a humiliating televised defeat to the mighty Norwich, and the defeat to Newcastle, which at the time the fixtures were released we could only imagine in the positive it could be a season defining fixture, either way.

The record of Bruce at home is appalling and without Bolton and west ham last season would have failed in the targets set by the board.

Injuries may have caused this, granted.

Still feel he needs time and I keep thd faith that he'll get it right, far too good to go down, u can see it on the pitch!

If we are not in the top half by Xmas and languishing, then I'll be asking for his mrs doubtfire, couldn't bend wire that shape nose, pat butcher look-a-like heeeeeeeeed on a plate!

26 points from 25 league games in 2011
3 home wins in 2011
2 cup exits against lower league sides

Not exactly inspiring form now is it?

Well, we've seen an improvement in our away form of late which suggests the players are happier away from the moaning gets at SOL. Who could blame them eh.

I've followed them best part of 40 years. Bruce out.

Me too and not once in all that time have I referred to the lads as them. Always US which probably explains why you are an outie and I am an innie. Which end of your boiled egg to you open?

Yep, it's all the fans fault

2 gutless derby performances - fault of the fans
2-0 within 5 minutes against WBA - fault of the fans
Out of the cup against Notts County - fault of the fans
Home defeats against WBA and Fulham - fault of the fans

Stop moaning man, you're proving the point.

Norwich? Swansea? Brighton? Oh, you must mean a point at Anfield. Otherwise this statement is completely mystifying. Or have I gone to a parallel universe where everybody's gone completely gaga?

Or you are just a sad pretentious twat thinking you are actually anything other than a spectator.

If you were that attached to the club why don't you want us to get a better manager?

I'm not moaning, I'm trying to post in the same style as the Bruce lovers.

Everything is the fault of the fans. Everything. Except finishing 10th, that was down the tactical genius in charge of the team. That was nothing to do with the fans

I couldn't agree more. I think the majority who are calling for his head are most likely kids who don't know what we Sunderland fans have endured over the years. I have been a fan since around 2001 when I moved from scotland and we have never really had it better.
I also think any long term supporters who are calling for his head need a bloody good shake and told to stop being sheep and following the crowd.
I will probably get slated for this but we really do need to remember where we were 5 years ago!

i've got kegs owlder than that

oh and fuck off

Nobody is on his back yet. He'll be the first to know when we are and he won't like it one little bit.
