Amp advice (for speakers)

007Iron

Midfield
I've got 2 x Polk Atrium8 outdoor speakers, (look at me, I have outdoor space etc.) and am looking for a decent, inexpensive, amp to boost the 35W from my Denon stereo.

Speaker Specifications:
  • Driver Compliments:
  • Mid/Woofer 1 X 6 1/2" Diameter (16.51cm) Dual Voice Coil Driver with Dynamic Balance Aerated Polypropylene Cone with rubber surround
  • Tweeter 2 X 1" Diameter (2.54cm) Anodized Aluminum Dome with Neodymium motor structure
  • Electrical:
  • Overall Frequency Response 45Hz-27kHz
  • Nominal Impedance 8 ohms
  • Recommended Amplifier Power 10-125 x 2 w/channel
  • Efficiency 91 dB
  • Inputs Gold-plated 5-way Binding Posts
Amp budget approx £250. What do you reckon?

Bought ours from gear4music. Couldn't recommend them enough. Not only did they tell me exactly what amp I should be looking at when I gave them the specs, they found a second hand supplier and got me a cheaper version when I couldn't afford it brand new. Give them a ring if you can't get to one of their outlets, I organised it all over the phone and got mine shipped.

Samson Servo 120A Power Amplifier

Hmm, discontinued. Also 120W into 8 ohms is only in bridged mono. Maybe go for the same range but a higher model. There's a Servo 200, Servo 300, Servo 600.

Don't know how big your space is so you might not need something as big as the 600. Samson power amps are great though.
