Amorim turning the tide?

Well it wouldn't be a straight swap
Napoli supposedly want 65m and are supposedly prepared to pay something like 15/20m for Hojlund.
Would still leave them short a back up striker though so unless he has the confidence a 17yo Obi-Martin can step up I'd probably give Hojlund another season as sub striker. He showed glimpses of a decent player last season but looks shot to bits now.
Well I do suppose that that Hojlund is hardly an offer that they can't refuse, which is the napolitan way.

Paid too much for players and paid them too much, when coming to sell them nobody will pay that amount in fees or match their wages so they have to sell for much less than they paid and continue to pay a % of their salary.
Mistake to let Sancho go just because he fell out with Ten Hag.

Hojlund is an interesting one. I really like lots about his game, and do wonder if he gets a few he may go on a run

He’s still only 22 as well.

Or he could be shit
He seems a bit soft to me and lets the centre backs bully him.
Service is also a problem for him when you have somebody like Garnacho playing who only wants to cut in and shoot himself all the time, despite him not being very good at it
It's been clear all season though that the rest of the squad don't rate him and just not passing for him.

Yeah all true. I just think there is potential there.

Interesting one. Zirkzee is a better footballer, but he’s not an out and out 9, and he’s not good enough at the highest level for a 10

Højlund has more potential I think

But I see both sides
At 22, given how precocious the younger generation is these days ( e.g. Barça🙂), normally you would have shown what you've got by this age.

I would like the poor lad to succeed, but he's just a little too slow and lacking that deft touch.

Raphinha is an interesting counter however
As a punter with an eagle eye for true talent, I always rated him highly at Leeds. However, his form this season is exceptional.
Did you read the article about his early life in the favelas published in BBC Sport the other day?
He's also established himself as a real leader in the team with his inspirational attitude.

Maybe a better example is Morgan Rogers
Well, the tide has truly turned - Hojlund has scored - and a good strikers goal as well
I’ll bump this when Leicester beat them on Sunday
Not gonna happen. Utd already dominating with a great goal from Hojlund. Amorim working miracles now.
