Altidore - plank!

think Altidore will prove to be a good player and Borini definately has something about him. Looks promising for us.

If we can sort our central midield we will havbe the makings of a decent team. If not then we'll likely go down.

The strikers we have are a fair bunch of players. It is the likes of Vaughan, Gardener, Larsson that are the weak links

I thought all of the above would've moved on during the summer, it's funny how football works out, not really amusing though, is it...?

If we replaced Vaughan with someone not totally f***ing shit we'd have a decent side, it's not going to be top ten or anything but we'd have no relegation worries.

Altidore and Fletcher looked promising in the second half, could be a good partnership.

I think his movement off the ball and aweness of what is hapening around him is some of the worst I have seen in a sunderland shirt. I am hoping this is just because he is not used to his new collagues yet
I thought Conner showed more for the ball once he came on.

Are you kidding?

Paul Stewart
Andy Grey
Jon Stead
Anthony Le Tallec
Kevin Kyle

As for Wickham being better yesterday......

So I asume you agree his movement and intelligence is poor and you only have an issue with the hyperbole of worst ever?

Not at all. I saw glimpses of a partnership between him and Fletcher yesterday and think his movement is ok. Several times he's made the early run only for our plodding midfield to hold on to it. I think there's more to come but I'm happy enough with how he's started.

The hyperbole just made you sound daft.

Not as daft as you saying Paul Stewart had poor movement and awareness off the ball. We all have our opnions and there is no need to start thrown insults around like.
Dafty

PS can you point out where he linked up well with Fletcher. I saw a coulple of glimpeses the other yut can't recall one where he gave a goal scoring opportunty to his strike partner.

Happy to be corrected like

He didn't lay anything on for him (obviously) but they seemed to have an understanding of where each other were going to be. They managed to find each other with knockdowns and tried to play off each other. I've not got a video of the full game so can't provide minute by minute examples.

He did set up Wickham when he came on though and he fluffed his lines with a header that he should have got on target.

I apologise for the insult. It was tongue in cheek. Of course if we all had the same opinion it would be very dull on here!
