Altidore - plank!

If that arsehole of a ref never robbed him, you'd have been saying how great he is.

He did very well for the 'goal' by the way. Things just aren't going our way at the minute.

Yes. Our biggest threat to score today from the run of play is a plank. Excellent insight dear boy.

He's not a plank, and neither is he a Premier League striker. And to say he's better than Wickham is hardly an accolade to be proud of. Our whole "strikeforce" is shit, Fletcher excluded.[DOUBLEPOST=1379192871][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yes, our biggest "threat". We don't want threats, we need goals.

Both Altidore and Fletcher are short of fitness. Despite that, there were encouraging signs that they're on the same wavelength and will make a decent partnership.

Altidore is a willing runner and never gave Arsenal's centre halves a minutes peace. Some of his passing was off and he gave away a few daft fouls with his eagerness. Other than that I thought he was one of our better players today.

He's miles better than Wickham and he has his strengths. However I don't think he will score goals in this league, seems to lack the kind of natural goal-scorers instinct that Fletcher has for example. I will be pleasently surprised if he gets into double figures for goals this season in the league, will probably be around the 6 or 7 mark IMO. Not sure him and Fletcher are the best partnership either, should be him or Fletcher alongside a nippy striker with genuine pace who can get in behind defences.

Said all along he won't hit double figures in this league. I think he will fill a hole and do a decent job. He's a bang average player imo, however bang average is at least better than out and out shite, which is what we have been served up in recent memory by the likes of graham and ji.
