Alternatives to Kane

Given that Harry is clearly unfit/unwell or totally out of form/or over-hyped, maybe it's time to think of alternatives. If we play Calvert lewin we need centres into the area - therefore we could play Sanco and Grealish on either side. If we play Grealish, we also need a free-kick specialist. I would suggest putting Ward Prowse in Rice's position - he is classed as a defensive midfielder and play together with Mount, helping out defensively and strating the transition to attack and Foden in a free role to move as he pleases.

It's only a dream - but it would work a lot better than what we've seen so far.

Rio's point was you don't go from the player Kane is in the PL to what he has been in this tournament overnight, that serious conversations have to had and pending those you need to give him the chance to turn it around but no more than the first half, if he is still off take him off and get someone else on for the second half

He’s playing 2 “holding” midfielders but has one of them getting forward supporting and making runs.
You might as well play Mount next to Rice and play that role instead.
That would leave the place further forward for Grealish.

Agree with this. Mount is capable of playing deeper, and is a good passer of the ball. Against Scotland we should have seen him and Rice in the middle allowing Grealish the space to run at the defence
