RTG Alternate colour scheme for the message boards?

There will only be at most one alternative skin and this isn't a competition or poll, but I do want to sound out alternative ideas.

Hi Roger,

I thought I'd respond with the type of message you'd expect from me, so here goes:

To alternate is to take turns; an alternative is an option.

When you wear your snazzy checked blazer, the black and white squares alternate. But if you're not feeling like an '80s guitar hero, the green plaid jacket is a nice alternative.

Your thread title, therefore, offering an 'alternate' colour scheme is intriguing. I imagine that it would take a lot of programming to get the 'skin', to which your refer, to regular change colour and appearance but it would be fabulously creative.

You, however, use the term 'alternative' too within the actual text of your message, which is a different proposition and probably more sensible.

You appear, furthermore, to be alternating between the terms 'alternative' and 'alternate'. The alternative would be to use the correct one; which is 'alternative'.
