What's changed like? Much as it's ever been when I was last there just before Christmas. Not enough women, full of hippies.

There's nowt there, the little deli should be selling fresh veg instead of jars of dolmio. The chemist is run by Arkwright. The pubs are nowt special too.
2/10

Only ever been once when I played in the Northern Alliance for Seaton Burn.

The pitch was right next to the river and we lost two of their balls.

Was a nice enough place from what I can remember.

The only thing memorable about it is going over those effing cobbles on my Suzuki. It's on the way to the lakes if you take the scenic route via Weardale, that's about it.

Edit: it's not far from the Nent Hall Country Hotel. Cracking place for a pint and a meal.

Went past that on the way back looked a nice spot

There's a topper park at the top of the bank on the Nenthead Rd. that I take my kids to.

The narrow gauge railway is class at Christmas.
