He's an embarrassment , fuck him
:) Compared to what we've had at FB since he was sold?

He was clearly part of the trouble amongst the dressing room. Decent enough right back for our team, but no regrets letting him go. We can't have people pulling the shit Bardsley did in our club. The lad was not worth the hassle.
Bardo's long gone so everything is peachy in the dressing room now. Phew. :)

He is better than billy jones and that is the only yardstick to judge him on given he was his successor.
The chances of a club like us attracting much better than bardsley is slim to none so quite why the excitement when he left I have no idea.

Similar player to Larsson in the sense that he'd have five games a season where he'd be brilliant and the rest he'd be average. Or injured. But I agree, that's still better than what we have now,

He was dreadful.

Only played when his contract was up for renewal.

Stoke quickly saw through him
Like ki was? ;)
He wasn't dreadful mind. He was a reasonable enough player for a club like us. What right backs have we had that have been better than him in last 30 year? Arguably makin and I'd say they were pretty similar players to be honest.

He was ok at times, good at others, shit at times too, but mostly pretty average. We haven't moved on but you put Bardsley in the current set up and he'd be just as exposed.

Yeah I'm well aware our defenders arent that good, but Advocaat constantly talking up needing players may be cranking up the pressure on Short and Congerton, but it's also smokescreening the shambolic way we've been set up this season.

He was certainly competent. Subsequent full backs as people say do not make him a better player, but the fact remains he is, or was better than what we have.

I'm more interested that Stoke, particularly Mark Hughes has "found him out" and he's now third choice at Stoke. That's what I call taking action.

I was happy enough when le left. Same as with Jones, Colback, Steed, and Ricco and others . Fool that I am I imagined we would gave replaced with better not worse.
