All those season ticket holders who haven't been to a checkatrade game yet

Not wanting to poke any wasps nests like but a reckon there should be a kinda “cup coin” thing where you get a point for every cup game you attend and get first dibs at the cup tickets before the “60+ boys club” come and snap them all up? ... wouldn’t really be fair on the fans who attended all the cup games and then suddenly couldn’t get one for the final?... although with it bein Wembley it’ll probably make general sale anyway rendering my point completely invalid?...

I won't be going. Ive not done any midweek games all season. Glad we've been in it but, get a chance to bring the likes of kiompka on

I haven't been to any games but will gladly use your ticket for Wembley!

Cheers. I haven't bothered this year. My dad is really ill and i just haven't fancied it.

Including myself by the way, would you go to Wembley if we got there?

Like most SAFC fans I haven't been arsed by the competition so far and wasn't bothered if we got to the final but must admit now we are in the quarter finals I hope we get to the final and I will be going

Would love another pre final Covent garden party as that was superb
Everybody dreaming of Wembley now like against Millwall in the semi? Out next round it is then...

Think you missing the point of why lots of people have a season ticket....away and cup tickets. We got ours after missing out on cup final tickets from the club in '92 after attending all home matches and about half away matches. Why should someone who has spent about £3 going to a couple of home matches get ahead of someone who spends thousands of pounds and lots of time supporting the team week in week out only then to be penalised for not going to a couple of matches.

As an add to my previous post...... I have been to most of the cup matches I can get to, but totally understand those who haven't. When you work full time, run a house and have family commitments, you sometimes have to make the decision to miss the odd match.

There is a substantial camp of fans who have attended over a thousand games or so in their lifetime, the vast majority of it while we were shit, but who are now unable to attend regularly, if at all. They have no actual right to be there more than any current ST holder, far less in fact. That said, ethically I understand their huge desire, indeed even a sense of entitlement having shown the loyalty for so long, to be directly involved in the rare occasions when we step out into the warm sunshine of success. I cannot condemn them, the club deck of Wembley was overflowing with them against Man City. They can never expect to be formally able to obtain tickets on the basis of their status as 'former uberfans', but while feeling deeply sad for those who cannot afford such a route - I would not condemn anyone whose first checkatrade game is the final.

Current ST holders though, it does seem to be a little odd to be in a position to readily go to at least some of these games and yet not do so, but still jump on the Wembley partywagon. But that is their right under the system we have. I would love to see regular Checkatrade attendance rewarded (behind one each for ST holders), like the vouchers you used to get in the seventies that gave some priority for a subsequent final, but that seems to be out of fashion.
