All that glitters ain’t gold

Major investors had to make way for the deal to go through and the competition was not up to meeting the criteria required by Short.

Time will tell, but judging by the interview, he’s a nice guy and they don’t always succeed and a great PR man by his side.

I genuinely hope Donald can get the club promoted first time around, but, I don’t hear any quotes of money is not an issue. What I do hear is quotes about the size of the fan base and the income it can generate, SOME! Championship clubs will be envious of our budget, (that wouldn’t take much) and the transfer fees in Div 1 are not that high!(if you want to be the best you have to pay the best), a club like Sunderland will be held to ransom.

Here’s hoping, however; I predict that by Xmas because of his naivety and lack of investment the fans will have turned on him.

You know what? I don't believe you.

You're a 'I told you so' type imo

Their taking the piss already, wanting the supporters to come along and have a BBQ few beers and help change the seats. Speaks volumes about their financial clout, evade the questions numerous times. FFS Salford wouldn’t do that. What next car boot sales at the SOL entrance fee goes towards paying the electricity bill
Your either a WUM or your just plain daft....but hey! That’s your thoughts eh?

I don’t, I’m a realist and supported Sunderland for a long time. I have a bad feeling about this takeover.
There's being a realist and there's shooting something down before it gets off the ground.

These blokes have experience of improving a lower league club and their fans seem very sorry to see them go.

If they do it in L1 they'll be fighting off investors with a shitty stick soon enough.

Will you be going to the BBQ to help replace the pink seats, what have we become?
