Last ever issue out now. Shame that, it was a canny read. Not as good as The Cricketer but still, leaves a big hole in the cricket readers monthly fix of news.

Same team of people are basically taking over a new Wisden magazine from next month. In essence a re-brand. I still subscribe and my subscription is just transferring over to the new version
Is that different from the cricketer magazine, which used to be connected with Wisden?

Good to hear Greg, thanks for flagging this up. The editorial didn't mention that, just looked like they were packing it in.

I think it is mate. The Cricketer is still going I believe. This is a new Wisden Magazine and website.

I'd post a pic of the letter that came with it mate but have no idea how to post pics on here.

I subscribe to the cricketer currently. I'll have a look at this new one when it appears.

Sack it, I've got nothing better to do, I'll transcribe a couple of paragraphs haha.

"Now for the big reveal. Our conversation doesn't need to end here. Because next month, issue No.1 of the revived Wisden Cricket Monthly will be hitting newsstands, and will be brought to you by the team behind AOC.... blah blah."

"It is our sincere belief that all the qualities you have come to appreciate from AOC will be infused into this new publication. And though it naturally a poignant moment to be closing the pages on the final issue of AOC, the opportunity to work with a brand as iconic and far-reaching as Wisden doesn't come along very often...."

There you go gents m, I'm not doing the other 6 paragraphs as well haha

I took out a 20 issue subscription for the cricket paper over the summer. Only cost a tenner, as went through quidco and got a tenner back.
