The Saudi's own the club. If they wanted Bruce to stay, he'd still be there.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that this takeover is very haphazard. I notice with Sky Bet that Frank Lampard is seemingly back in the running. They’ve known they were taking over the club for years and there’s no clear plan In place. This lot could be worse for them than Ashley.

Maybe they did want him to stay but look at the reaction of the media and fans to the fact Bruce stayed for the Spurs game. This intensified after the defeat so have the Saudi's done this to appease the fans, added to Bruce saying I've had enough of this shit? (imagine how you'd feel)

I know the takeover happened quickly but is why there's no manager ready to come straight in? Surel'y they'll have had a list and just get rid of Bruce asap to keep fans happy and use Graeme Jones as a caretaker until then?

If the mags had won Sunday then would Bruce still have been manager?

I think when they failed to take over last year their plan was to re-appoint Benitez because they knew that would be another thing they’d fawn over.
They’d not have known whether to dress as Arabs or Spanish waiters in sombreros
By the time the takeover came along he was at Everton and they didn’t have a clue who to turn to
