I was predicting this would go tits up not a week ago, but I have to admit even for me, this escalated quickly: Lawyers to submit Yemen war crimes dossier to UK police

"The full list of those accused was not released by the group of lawyers, Guernica 37, but it is understood they include Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his Emirati equivalent Mohammed bin Zayed.

Both are considered close political allies of the UK and important investors in the country, with the UAE ruling family owning Manchester City. Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) took control of Premier League rivals Newcastle United in a £305m deal.

Toby Cadman, the barrister leading the complaint, said he hoped the Met police’s war crimes unit would ignore any political pressures from the British government and evaluate the issues fairly. “We are talking about the most heinous crimes and we don’t believe there is any immunity from them.”

So what would this mean for their ownership?

In the (massively unlikely) event that the UK Govt & MET don't ultimately roll out the red carpet, it would mean a proportion of Man CIty / Newcastle's ownership group being jailed if on UK soil.

Tbf I can't remember if Chelsea's owner is allowed now, he wasn't for a year or so I'm sure.
So now they're openly admiting that they're endorsing Suadi murderers.
MBS is this century's William Wallace.

I'm afraid the Coward that is our PM will simply sweep this under the carpet following his intervention to push the takeover through at the request of his Excellency. f***ing shameful. I do hope I'm wrong.
