The Benitez Bruce thing was always such a daft comparison though, Benitez left the club finishing 13th having stabilised and kept them up comfortably two seasons in a row. Bruce was then given the best part of a £100 million yet took the team backwards. It’s daft saying the win ratio or whatever is similar when Bruce was given all that money and made a stable mid table team worse.
Strange that because when Rafa left almost every Newcastle fan said that the club were favourites for relegation, such was the quality of the squad he left behind. Bruce made a couple of additions after losing the previous seasons top 2 goal scorers, guided that squad to 12th and received nothing but abuse for his troubles.

So they are not all bad then?
But what sort of mind works in such a way that it thinks all that was right/appropriate/funny to do it in the first place?
There's a guy called Fish gets on here. You must have seen his posts. Can be quite eloquent and considered at times. I spent f***ing ages trying to explain to him that the dressing up antics on Sunday were offensive to your new owners, and racist. He just wouldn't have it. He turned himself indide out trying to prove me wrong with semantics. It has taken the club to publicly request them not to be so f***ing stupid.
That is why we are having such a good time here. You keep laying on open goals for us.

Bollocks. I've still got my gallabea and associated headress, from a holiday fancy dress in Egypt. Was hoping to flog it for a few quid in Gravytoon.

And so it begins. Next no alcohol, women banned and God help you if you're Gay. And the daft twats cannot see it. I hope there are banners, flags, songs, vans at every game they play.

What about the guy who got a camel tattooed on his leg, are camels ok Mr Excellency Sir?

Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s the PIF gadgeys who have complained saying it’s disrespectful and it’s offended there mince pies.

Arab news probably complaining as well, who wants to see some numpty dressed in their clobber clutching a broon ale in each paw.

Not arguing with that. I was referring to banning woman from football with my "not all bad"comment.
Dressing up like that is, at best, infantile. I would, in slight defence, ask if Man City fans (yes I know, Whataboutery) were derided for racism when they did it?

No. You seem to have only read isolated posts.
I do not support our new owners. The question I asked, and keep asking without response, is what is the line of acceptable?
All I get in response are variations of Saudis' are the worst. I agree.
Does that mean only the worst are not fit and proper OR is it a case of the 'big clubs' will only kick up a stink it the new owners of a club are really evil AND rich beyond their clubs wealth?
mebbies its when amnesty international get involved.
