I hope it's Eddie Howe to replace Bruce. Very poor last time he came up north with Burnley. Managing a small club like Bournemouth doesn't compare to the pressure in the North East, especially after a high profile takeover and weight of expectation. Despite being a small club, Bournemouth had substantial investment but often found themselves struggling and eventually were relegated. Although his teams play good football, his biggest weakness is organising a defence. That is the mags' biggest problem. It's the kind of appointment someone who doesn't know much about football would make.

Like most on this forum, I'm gob smacked that he's still here and can only pray the new regime is working to some sort of agenda.
Mandy's words on her arrival are ringing very hollow now and that penfold represented the club at the premier league 'sponsorship' meeting does not bode well.
Please god the FCB has not had it written in the contract of sale that the SD signage remains because the first thing after planting a boot on bruce's @rse should have been to tear that tawdry blight from our stadium .....but they remain.
Apart from the sound bites of the 'inauguration' has anyone actually heard anything from them?
That mood of optimism I had is evaporating by the minute.""

Already complaining? They are absolute radge packets.

Could the hold up be that they're using an accountant outside the UK or would you expect them to appoint a high profile firm in say London?

They have to have auditors in the UK, and there's no reason why they can't file them via the club anyway. It's a simple online form. For comparison, all the changes relating to the KLD takeover were completed within 5 days of it going through (between 18 and 23 February)

Might be a daft question, but is there a deadline on when papers have to be submitted or risk being fined?

Not so far as I know, but there's a question mark over anything done by them in person until they are. Probably explains why Charnley attended the PL meeting yesterday. At the moment, he's the only director so far as CH is concerned.
