Have to admit whilst don’t want to go down relegation won’t be the end of the world , get rid of all the deadwood and build again in the championship, we all know relegation is down to the mess Ashley and Bruce left us in so that can’t be helped . The owners have the money to ensure we are only in the championship for a year and then come back up with a stronger squad that what we have now . Let’s be honest If Sunderland do get promoted this season it’s certainly a lot better for them if Newcastle aren’t in the same league next season.
Could you explain this, please? I don’t understand your rationale

Also, why on earth would Trippier go there? Recently won la liga, would have any amount of options.

Is he really going to fight relegation and relocate from Madrid to Newcastle?
It’s tha toon man whee could resist 52 thousand gormless idiots stinking of shit. In a medium to small provincial city legendary only in their own opinion. It’s nee different to Coventry or any other shithole to be honest.

Dinnit encourage the bell end.
🤣 It’s bollocks, though. I’d like to hear his condescending, delusional explanation.
If Sunderland go up, I’d hope for a season of consolidation rather than battling relegation. I wouldn’t expect back-to-back promotions. Whether the filth are in the Championship or not will have little to no bearing on where we finish (other than we’d be six points better off)
It doesn’t have one. It’s a mag.
Fair point, succinctly made

The mags played 80 minutes with 10 men in that game. Norwich were absolutely woeful and will be relegated in 20th place.

Eh? Mags are 3 points from safety yet people saying they are already down doesn't make much sense. Norwich will be relegated in 20th place, they won't strengthen enough in January.

Hang on, mags are 3 points from safety and it doesn't make sense people saying they're already down, yet you have Norwich relegated, who are also only three points from safety!?

And a 2 year old kid. Only one reason and that is a huge contract.

It could be like the ravanelli story - to put Boro off he told his agent to ask for 7 times his salary and ended up in Boro on 42k pw.

Course it's bollix. Everything only makes sense in their own heeds, they have always been and always will be the same and think the world owes them a a favour and it is their Allah given right to be in the Premiership. Bouncing straight back up is getting more difficult every season but these self righteous wankers still think they would piss the Championship if they go down.
Quality mate. Heard he once never got the england managers job anarl. And he hasn’t been on the dole that long really.
The 18 month exodus was his choice mate so he could work on his tactics. Reckon he should have took another 18 month out mesel like and worked on them a bit harder.

We pissed promotion under Ashley and it would happen again under our current owners , Newcastle being in the championship is like Sunderland being in league one , it should never happen and only happens due to terrible ownership and management . It’s not being arrogant but if We go down this season that’s one promotion place already gone for next season , last few times we have been relegated we have came back a better team so it’s not unrealistic to think it will happen again with owners who have a bit of ambition.
😂😂😂😂
