All along the Watchtower

This thread is about the brilliant cover of All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix. It's not about you so feck off.

You asked a question, I answered it and you appear to have accused me of lying in the answer. You’re the one making it about me.

Very odd behaviour imo.

Oh hark at you. You must get my point though. I don't want an argument but what pre 1918 music do you listen to, regularly ?
Not sure what your point was on the 1918 bit tbh

Have we all lost sight of the OP point ? Name a better cover ....... I can’t. It’s f***ing amazing.
Yes, i did
Walk on by The Stranglers is my personal fave

Idiot. John Entwistle on bass
I like John but you may as well stick with Noel Redding for the busy bass man stuff

Walk on by is one of my favourite songs, I like the version by AWB.

Jimmy Hendrix isn't my favourite artist but this is for me the greatest song of all time, the guitar playing is direct from heaven. I could listen to it on repeat endlessly.

I like it when it popped up in Withnail and I, seemed to work very well in that film "scrubbers".

Definitely one of the best covers.
I Am A Walrus by Oasis has gotta be up there.
Also Hounds Of Love by The Futureheads.
And any UB40 song from Labour Of Love I and II.
Baby Come Back by Pato Banton just misses out.
The Futureheads singing style is one of the most annoying styles I've ever heard.
