for slow over rates. he got his first warning after the first test.

not sure, but it appears to me the over rate is similar at headingley, is he then suspended for the
first test v india?

hope it does not happen. how long is this period where he could be suspended go on for?

iirc dhoni got suspended once so they dont do any favours.

if it does, do you think its between anderson and broad to captain?

is prior not the vice captain
 
Better a batsmen than a bowler imo - a case of the bowler either doesn't bowl himself enough or gans mad and over bowls!
 
prior is vice captain aye. obviously broad is t20 captain, who captained that side when broad was out, was it morgan? no idea if he is in teh t20 team tbf, couldnt care less either :lol:

not a fan of bowling captains, but then i don't really like broad either so double as bad.

this is why you need a reliable spinner to carry the load.

fair enough, it was definitly prior at one stage but i guess that would have to change when he got dropped.
 
anyone think cook, in private at home, may be relieved if this does happen?

i like the lad but this struggle is getting to him. clear as day, you can see it in his body language
