Alien Life introducing themselves

This is worth a watch. Probably wildly inaccurate but best guess we have ATM. Puts things in perspective when you see the clock ticking at the bottom 😮

I wouldn’t find it surprising to find clues of life on other planets once technology advanced enough to detect it.

Thankfully the distances are far too great for us to embarrass ourselves as a species.

This 100%.

And as you also say, we won't probably find traces of other races out there until we can actually develop something capable of doing so.

Be thousands of years at least imo.....especially considering it took that Voyager 1 probe 35 years just to exit our solar system.....

People say 'well how come they haven't detected us yet?' Even if they were light years ahead of us technology wise, the distances of space are almost too much to fathom.

Watched an interview with that Lawrence Krauss recently and he explained it well; If you thought of the Earth being a speck of dust on a work desk, the desk would represent our solar system. The nearest next solar system to ours would be 3 miles away from that desk. Consider that as mentioned, it took 35 years for Voyager 1 to leave the area of said desk, then it gives you an idea of how vast the thing is....even other distant life forms much more developed than ours would find it a huge f*** off chore to locate us given how expansive the whole thing is...

Mind boggling.
