Alfredo Morelos

Not sure about Souttar at all - looks like he's towing an ice berg to me. All of the others would improve us though.

Divide it by 10 and we may be able to talk, I'd say mate.
Souttar is a great player he is a great passer off the ball he can step out from the back he reads the game is aggressive and good in the air he can even play right back and holding midfield

But at center half he looks really accomplished perfect for how we want to play under Beale

I'm not convinced by the lad. Looks to lack pace but then I don't regularly watch him.

Ive not said that they aren't any players good enough for Rangers in the championship

All ive said is your teams are asking to much money for them casevin point the boy Whittaker at Swansea City

We pick up guys out the picture and get them playing again hopefully improving them Cantwell and Raskin are two great examples

We aren't gonna throw crazy money around when there are better markets for us to explore abroad

Got £45 000 a week for him?I doubt it he'll end up at Galatasaray
But we do exactly the same ie pick up players out the picture and get them playing again and improving them, and/or young players not getting first team football it’s literally how we assembled the current squad

Yes the money situation is slightly different but look at the Clarke deal, low fee but big sell on clause for a lad going nowhere at spurs, Ballard, cirkin very similar

Low money gambles on improving youngsters, alese, Hume, Ekwah, abroad for similar for ba, lihadji and some homegrown talent Neil and patterson

We are rebuilding and have the benefit of better income streams but don’t believe what you read in the papers about fees for players we are, like you trying to do this sensibly.

the original question was about Morelos as I said he doesn’t fit our model/approach and even if we could afford him (we can’t) there is better value out there and he would want somewhere in Europe anyway as opposed to joining any championship club.

We done same got Bassey Aribo sold for good money got good money for Patterson who never played much all on low fees we got Kamara gor £50 000 even if we get £2 million its still a profit with Cifuentes coming in the door on lesser wages

Also if King ends up breaking into the side we'll get good money for him already interested parties in EPL and Bundesleiga interested in him

I don't want to sell everyone though but some offers we just can't turn down like the offer for Bassey

So here is hoping that Sterling will be the same type off player was he good at Stoke?

Wow, think you are being harsh on your own team mind

Keepers - not even near either of ours
Defenders - tavernier is great going forward and set pieces are quality, Goldson would compete for a starting place but don’t think he improves either teams starting team not seen enough of soutae to comment
Midfield - Lundstram would, don’t think any of the others are much better/worse than what either team has, not seen enough of raskin to comment
Strikers - no one

With the right additions rangers would be like both of us, strong in challenging for promotion from the championship.

In the past rangers would have easily been in the premier league as they had some real quality players but the demotion has left them with a massive rebuilding job.

Tavernier is class like

I dont care about Rangers of Celtic mind, but I find this a ridiculous post, mayeb the team has chaned loads

But they literally got to a European cup final like a few year ago? They beat Dortmund, Leipzig, Braga among others.

I mean I love our team, but we couldnt have done that like.

Dunno why people need such hyperbole, you aint shit if you are getting to a European final and losing on penalties are you.

Would you lads take him? I’m told Boro and Leicester interested, he’s a good player when fit but he’s a headcase anall
Championship is a big step up from that league, his fitness and attitude would not be right for what is looking like a hell of a tough league, he is used to playing in a team that just have turn up most weeks and he gets numerous chances too score.
Not the type of player for us .

Bad tempered and petulant. Perpetually overweight. Misses absolute sitters. Nearly always useless in derbies. What's not to like?

To be fair after getting about a dozen red cards in his first month at rangers he’s only had one since 2019. He’s almost reached sainthood ;)

They had their 2 best players, Aribo and Bassey, cherry picked. They were the core of the side, and the team looks significantly worse with the spine ripped out of it.

Kamara downed tools after all his buddies got a move leaving a side with a defence that chokes under pressure, a pedestrian cm, an increasingly ineffectual Kent, and an overweight/injured CF.

Tillman was a decent addition on loan, but i found his decision making painful to watch at times.

Most of my bluenose mates aren't particularly happy with the state of the squad, and only the most blinkered fan wouldn’t realise that without a good window Celtic will hump them again (nanager dependant).
