Deliberately vague this-

So on Saturday 24th August, at the Sunderland vs Burnley game, you’re saying that Mendy will have been signed and will be introduced to the crowd (and also that Jack Clarke won’t be there as he’s moving on)
 
Poor Mendy, clear now that he has been a pawn this summer for our owners manipulation of the fans. Offer 3 times less than the selling clubs valuation of their star striker.....have no alternative options until the day you sell you star player for £10milion less than his value, then push loads of rumours of us signing the next Harland 🤣
 
The Mendy thing is pretty weird, it sounds like he's completely committed to joining us. Even this late in the window he's not opening himself up for any other club to come in for him, it's Sunderland or bust. Surely someone at the club must have given him guarantees?

I get the feeling It's going to Isidor replacing Clarke as a wide left forward with Mundle back up to him and Mendy and Simic as the centre forwards coming in.
 
Hopefully temporary but genuinely fed up with this saga, if it was not too far fetched I would suggest this is the club modus operandi... drag things out for as long and as cheaply as possible until all lose the will to live. We forgive a lot as a fan base, over and over again; the bcb; Beale; the interminable manager 'search'; this plus Clarke plus some U23 Serbian plus a Russian/French moustached forward (maybe) has done me in.
