I don’t see why it’s inconceivable that we are getting Simic and Wilson on loan. Financially, doesn’t seem like this necessitates a Clarke sale.
Sure, if a £25m+ bid comes in from a mid-table and stable PL club, the lad is off. But that doesn’t look to be happening, as far as I can see.

Losing Clarke this late in the window would be the worst thing that can happen to us tbh. Any Replacements that haven't moved already will now be more expensive due to the timing. Clubs would also know we have money from Clarke's transfer, so would have our pants down.
I think we should have secured the services of Millar before Hull stepped in, as none of the lads we have currently are even close to being adequate replacements for Clarke.

Do you include matches where he got on for 2/3 minutes as a match? You’re much better off using goals per minute played, unless it doesn’t suit your agenda

It is, but Mendy’s club have priced him out of a move here. So rather than say ‘we tried but couldn’t get a striker in’ the club recruitment team have moved onto other options before the window closes, surely that’s a good thing?
