God I hope so...We will win on Sunday like
It's the same script Mowbray and Beale were told to say. No the wonder Still walked away and others didn't want it. Same old backroom stsff aswel...that's just been brushed under the carpetWe've been hoping for about 2 years Regis.
It's why I don't listen to them.its the same owld shite, The market, its complexed, we need time...Shit or get off the pot...
KLD & go probably promised the manager new coaching staff & other things and went back on their word that’s the way I see itWithout wanting to wade into the arguments can I just ask those who defend “the club” at all times, are you actually defending the club or those who are the current stewards of it?
Personally, I couldn’t care less who is in charge as they are transient, the club is us and always will be. All I want it the best chance to get 3 points on Saturdays. They wrote off half a season last season and have gone into this one again without a first team striker. For me, that is failing to give the manager the tools for the job and in no way giving us the best chance of results .
I don’t know why people continue to defend this. I may be called a “bedwetter”’or whatever but, as I say, I only care about SAFC having the best chance to win games.
I have to say I feel for RLB. A manger really should be able to bring in his own staff - assistant minimum and we haven’t given him any more chance of winning games than Mowbray had at this stage a year ago.KLD & go probably promised the manager new coaching staff & other things and went back on their word that’s the way I see it
There’ll be a fair few on here absolutely baffled if we do. Won’t know how to react. We will win on Sunday like
You don't know that.Both. Lack of funds, the funds they have had, hasn't been used good enough.
Bang on. Like my lad said other day..."do they get the same script to read from"?
RLB comes across quite well... strikes me as a bit of a thinker. I'd be interested on what premise and what assurances were made to him .. still early days for him ...even Mowbray was allowed to bring in an assistant. Looks like he's stuck with dodds.KLD & go probably promised the manager new coaching staff & other things and went back on their word that’s the way I see it
I couldn’t think of a better club to run and build as a 26 year old billionaireI and many others hope for realistic ambition ... nothing more than that....those ambition extend to be able to field a squad that has coverage in all areas and depth.... nobody is making demands on kld squandering his wealth but showing more ambition than he has is not being unrealistic.
We've spent zero this summer ...
your point about us needing to being bought out and not being able to attain this limit ambition makes me want to respond that these are not mutually inclusive...more over if kld hasn't got the resources to achieve those modest ambitions why is he here? If I'm a 26 year old billionaire...I wouldnt want to own sunderland ( many wouldn't )
The reality is ( and its not being disproved ) is were a cheap operation ... incapable of evolving on key areas. I ask red to prove that's not the case.
What is acceptable and what is not given where we are and how do we achieve our ambition of making the playoffs with what we have?
Can anybody prove we are not run on a shoestring ... can anybody further prove that not having a 1st ready striker I'd OK for over 440 days... if the current situation OK and are people genuinely happy for it to persist indefinitely ?
It's why others knocked it back and he didn't.I have to say I feel for RLB. A manger really should be able to bring in his own staff - assistant minimum and we haven’t given him any more chance of winning games than Mowbray had at this stage a year ago.
We know roughly how much they received for Lihadji, Gooch and Stewart. That wasn’t used anywhere near well enough. You don't know that.
So we know there's a decent budget then.We know roughly how much they received for Lihadji, Gooch and Stewart. That wasn’t used anywhere near well enough.
But we're not building atm ...last year was about regressing.. spending nowt isn't building ... it risks further stagnation.I couldn’t think of a better club to run and build as a 26 year old billionaire
For me, that is completely counterproductive. If you hire someone, you want the best version of them and, far more often than not, that involves them bringing their own assistantRLB comes across quite well... strikes me as a bit of a thinker. I'd be interested on what premise and what assurances were made to him .. still early days for him ...even Mowbray was allowed to bring in an assistant. Looks like he's stuck with dodds.
It’s only tough and complex if your owner is a greedy c.unt to be fairRLB. " Hopefully have a striker ithe next few days" "but the market is tough and complex"
I was replying to the point regarding it not being used well. Do you believe it was?So we know there's a decent budget then.
How does that tie in with a lack of funds?
You may very well be correct.. makes you wonder what RLB prefersFor me, that is completely counterproductive. If you hire someone, you want the best version of them and, far more often than not, that involves them bringing their own assistant
No.I was replying to the point regarding it not being used well. Do you believe it was?
Mine was in reply to the point regarding them being spent well. We had money to spend last summer and in January and the bloke running the show completely wasted it and had us tumbling down the league as a resultNo.
My point was mainly around the lack of funds.
