Bang on mate. Sad state of affairs. Nick Barnes was saying tonight, Le Bris didn't sound confident about getting a striker in.

Every day you see teams from our division showing ambition, strengthening squads then there’s us Couple of freebies no intent shown, it’s a joke
The most activity this summer from the club is about new kits and ordering more due to demand
They must be howling in the background

They accepted the offer however when they were taken over the new owners put a hold on all transfers until they talk to the squad, he still wants out, but they still have a delay on the deal.

Chucking money at it wont do anything as its already been agreed (going off the info knocking about)

Whilst I disagree entirely with the sentiment of the thread, Wednesday are hardly a shinning example we should be aspiring to.

Time to move on in my opinion there, I assume they can afford to wait this out. Can we?

If he brings in no strikers from now, or even one on loan, he absolutely needs firing as he's not fit for purpose.

If its a budget thing and he can't get a striker at the quality he wants then he needs to lower his standards a little. At this point a big, strong cf that can score 10 goals would be a huge improvement for the whole team

Frustrating for him, he works hard, travelling the globe to identify and check out potential talent. This is then passed onto Speakman who must decide, after liaising with Harvey whether to go for an individual depending on the budget he has been given. I believe that Harvey is a huge asset to us, he will of course be mandated to look for specific types of players who fit the model, ie age, potential and cost.
The Hume purchase was close to home for him but an outstanding find. The frustration being we are not prepared to spend on other recommendations that he makes. He was very well thought of by BRFC and TM.
