I mean that's just how football forums work. If you can't just go with it then your only two viable options are to stop reading the forum as it's making you miserable, or block the 'worst of the bunch' you mention so you don't see them. There's no other realistic alternative really.

The shirts have been received well, as have the stadium upgrades, from what I’ve seen,
The most important factor, however and the one we are all on here for in the first place is what happens on the pitch and we would have been back in League One had the season gone on another handful of games, make no mistake. Most of us have also watched all pre season games and, it’s negligible if anything has changed, whatsoever.

(Most) people want to see their team win games and it has been clear as day for 18 months where the problems lie yet, here we are, a week from the start of the season and they still persist. Whether you enjoy reading said posts or not is entirely your prerogative but it is merely people expressing the opinion the vast majority share.

What happened to we have learnt lessons from last season, what do you think the owner and the recruitment team have addressed since in regards to having a striker who can score goals in the championship and will be ready for the game against Cardiff.
Do we end up playing with Jobe again as the false 9 because the 3 so called strikers we have in the squad have proved in pre season that they are still a million miles away from being ready to start up front.

The strikers are not a million miles away they are not good enough full stop. Probably get rid during January or end of next season

I’m of the opinion we need to shift a bit on that and have been for some time….but of Cannon/Parrot for 8m is the going rate I can see why they don’t want to. We are apparently being asked for 5m for a 30 year old who is not even training with his club.

They need to sort it out one way or another as that’s their job.

Everyone else seems to manage though don’t they? It hasn’t been articulated as to why we find it so difficult in 4 windows to find a striker who can contribute right now. That is totally unacceptable because they run the risk of regressing and not have this “obsession with progression”. No one is asking for a Will Grigg or a Tore Andre Flo situation, a Marcus Stewart or a Sleeves would be nice. You would think we were the only club that got their fingers burnt
Sometimes you will have to speculate to accumulate and if that list of strikers we have had through the door since Speakman has arrived is acceptable because they were cheap, then people need to amend their standards.

Why would anyone go on to a discussion forum and not expect to see a broad range of views? What is the point in consuming media that does nothing but affirm your own viewpoint?

The penny pinching has to stop when it comes to such a critical position. Yes, we've had to wait for Mbappe's deal to buy Caen to go through for the Mendy deal to move on but if we weren't haggling in the first place, with the season rapidly approaching, then we could have had that done well before Mbappe delayed it.

During a normal season it might not have been so bad but coming off a season where we literally gave up for 50 percent of it, writing off even more games at the start of the season while we look to save 500k or whatever is not good at all.

There’s just as many if not more people actually agreeing with him that this situation is pathetic.

Then you have posters like Cummins and Nelson who go on and on about moaning and abuse, yet constantly moan and dish out abuse 😂.

When are people allowed to criticise, every window we hear “wait until the window closes, if we don’t get it over the line I’ll be the first to call them out” when it inevitably doesn’t the shite continues anyway, then in the next window it starts all over again.

4 transfer windows now. At what point can people state the obvious point it’s not acceptable and ask them to get a f***ing move on?
