That's what I'm saying, if we only value him at around 1m and they value him between 4/5m then it's seems a waste of time.

Even if Mendy himself wants to come, that club aren't going to give us their main striker for next to nothing. I think their 2nd striker is older and only score 3 goals last season.

Can't be regarded as frauds. Dodds is mentioned as having a massive influence on quite a few players (Jude and Jobe Bellingham, Joe Hart, Nathan Redmond, Demari Gray) who have gone on to have rather successful careers, including arguably the current best player in the world.

Proctor is highly rated by players and staff at the AoL, which is where his main work takes place, for his innovation.

They may not be suited to first team coaching at this level, I'd be inclined to agree but to call then frauds is out of order IMO

I don't think a fee has been agreed and the reports about him being over for a medical look to be false. The only real info we've got to go on is their president/owner said they value him at around 4/5 but recognise that they may have to take a bit less. We bid something like 700k 😆

I know in negotiations you start low, but I think that's a pretty insulting offer for a striker with his record over the past few seasons. I'm guessing Mbappe and his family know how difficult those goals will be to replace and will want a fee that reflects Mendys record....if they want to sell at all.

I hadn’t realised Proctor was promoted to assistant head coach- I thought he was a first team coach under Mowbray and still was now.

My mistake.

Yep. I’d realised Dodds was appointed interim head coach when Beale was peddled but think I’d missed that Proctor was interim assistant head coach.

Like I said, my mistake.

So what position does Proctor have now if Dodds is now interim assistant head coach?

I’m critical of him still, when it’s warranted. I can also see he’s done some good stuff and think it’s important to point that out too.

It’s the constant, boring, posts saying the same thing over and over from the same posters every day that I have a problem with.

We all know we need a striker, how does the relentless negativity help?
