Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)

KFC > Burger King > McDonald’s

Won’t change my mind.
Agree for the UK but KFC in America is absolutely minging. Genuinely never felt so sick in all of my life just from the taste.

Burger king is wank mind, don't get the love.

McDonalds has like 3 good things and the rest are all shite.

9 times out of 10 if I'm getting fast food I'm getting a Subway or Greggs honestly.

A sensible solution to me is to just let them go without a fee, but with something like a 40% sell on clause. That way there's no initial outlay for the buying team for the transfer so little risk. And on the off chance some of them progress then the sell on would be worth way more than any one off miniscule payment we'd get now.
Definitely this. That will kickstart our activity quicker

Another sign of incompetence at the club, if you ask me. We have such bloat in our squad of players who are clearly not up to scratch and some of them need moving on sharpish as they are not only filling squad places, but the financial drain they represent on the club finances is another hindrance on us finding a proven striker.

Someone else posted the figures earlier but it was something like 3 keepers, 11 defenders, 13 midfielders and not one "proven" 1st team striker. You cannot be competitive in ANY league at any level with that imbalance in your playing squad - and that rests on one fella as far as I can see.
Nonsense. They're all young players, all young players magically improve, or so I read on here. It's not possible that our fantastic set up bought any duds.

Greggs isn’t in the debate, love Greggs but out of the 3 “fast food” chains mentioned KFC by far exceeds the other 2. McDonald’s is shite.

Like what west ham have done with us, yes.

We’ve been linked with the bloke for 2 weeks, then he came out a week and a half ago saying he wanted to come, can understand if it had been dragging on for months but it’s been a couple of weeks.

How long do people think a normal transfer takes? Just this one has played out in public so people expect it to be done in hours. Most transfers that get done behind the scenes will take just as long, just people won’t know about how long it’s taking because it’s not common knowledge. If he hasn’t signed this time next week, then I’ll be worried.
I wouldn’t bother explaining transfers to some people mate, some on here think it’s like football manager, put a bid in then a contract and it’s done within 3 days.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated

Blackburn have just signed 2 canny strikers by the looks , 2 strikers in less than 24 hours what they playing at man ?

Who we signed ?? People scoffed at my suggestions last season , will be begging for someone like Colby Bishop come September after we don’t sign a striker yet again trust me

I think this whole smoke screen of mendy, strangleholds and fast food is a ploy by the club to keep us distracted while they work on the championship striker deal of the summer and we’re all in for the best surprise
