The bulk of the championship have barely made many signings yet.

Boro have only added a couple. The relegated sides haven't even sold many yet.

The transfer market isn't underway yet because of the euros. I don't see why you can't just wait and see and the critcise. What's the point in doing it now when clubs are barely signing players

There’s a huge element of the board that turn anything positive into a negative.

It’s not the fact that people aren’t quite rightly concerned about lack of striker and it is unacceptable it’s got to this point.

It’s the constant negativity to every bit of news coming out. It’s draining for the whole board

This board wasn't always like this . In the time I've been on here our situation has been far worse yet the negativity was nowhere near as bad . The Mag cup game seemed to embolden those who just love to whinge and since then they just can't seem to let go .

How many of those sides you refer to went almost a year without a striker scoring a goal? How many of those sides have been absolutely desperate for 4 windows, how many of those sides consistently start games without a recognised striker on the field?

Not sure I am as I’m talking about Mendy and striker situation. Obviously our new French HC has sanctioned this move snd wants the lad. Can you read?

We need a striker snd obviously Mandy comes with the new HCs backing. We have fannied on and it looks like it ain’t happening. The season starts in 10 days.

Your a broken record mate do you not think I'm aware of that?

It's not a computer game. If we offer 5m for a player worth 3m

Clubs know we're desperate and will ask for 10.

If we start the season with no striker it's a disgrace. But as I say the season hasn't started yet so what's the point of moaning.

how do other sides get a deal over the line? If they are after a player that shows they need the player.

These debates are raging across every club forums. I think we get carried away thinking everyone else is fine
 
The longer this drags on, the better Mendy becomes. By the time we sign him he'll be a contender for the Balloon d'Or, but we'll end up with a dork chasing a balloon.
