They signed players who weren't ready and still aren't. They've also done that with wingers and so on. That's not a fan telling you that, just look at the 3 head coaches last season not picking players because they either weren't ready, not good enough or both.

Clearly, whoever buys these players, doesn't give much thought as to what the head coach thinks/needs. It'll be interesting to see if that has changed as I'd suggest you do need everyone on the same page to move in the same direction.

Maybe it's not your argument. Rusyn was obviously signed to be the main man, to date he hasn't lived up to billing. Hope that changes this season.

After Stansfield changed his mind the club went for Burstow and thought they'd found someone to score goals. Remember Mowbray waxing lyrical about him after his first few training seasons. Obviously that didn't turn out to plan.

There's no guarantee signings work out. No matter the age, experience or the size of the transfer fee. Its not an exact science

The argument, was that people were concerned and there concerns were justified, the evidence of what happened on the pitch, the significant drop down the table, the significant time without a striker, the significant lack of goals from strikers all justify these concerns. Surely you can see the difference between people just being negative for the sake of it, and having geniune concerns realised on the field?

It's almost like there's thousands of fans posting on here who have different views on things.

You're trying to imply the same group of posters are guilty of all of that and it's just not the case. Like that thing about the club hating the fans. It's one poster who consistently posts that and he seems to rarely comment on anything else.

As I've said before this thread is about Mendy so it should say about Mendy and if you read the arguments they're aren't about Mendy they go on about speakmen or others crap discuss that shit on the relevant threads and keep this thread about Mendy no one wants to go through 10 page's of arguments on a topic that has nothing to do with the thread

Not everything is back and white (pardon the pun).

From what I can see nobody is being critical of the club for critical sake. We all love this club.

I agree the club have done some good stuff this close season with the contracts, strips etc. however not fundamentally addressing the striker situation, to date, is just gross mismanagement.

Another HC appointed that we are not giving the tools to do the job.

We need a striker snd obviously Mandy comes with the new HCs backing. We have fannied on and it looks like it ain’t happening. The season starts in 10 days.
